Who organises this programme?
The Indonesia-Canada Youth Exchange Programme (PPIK, Program Pertukaran Pemuda Indonesia-Kanada) is organised by the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sport in cooperation with Canada World Youth/Jeunesse Canada Monde.
When and how long does the programme run for?
The programme runs for approximately six months, usually from September to February. It is divided into two phases: three months in Canada and three months in Indonesia.
What do participants do?
During the programme, participants will stay with host families and Canadian counterparts. PPIK activities include social work, local community development, and work placement, which allows participants to work in a professional environment.
