Indonesia-Malaysia Youth Exchange Programme (IMYEP)


Who organises this programme?

The Indonesia-Malaysia Youth Exchange Programme (PPIM, Pertukaran Pemuda Indonesia-Malaysia) is an implementation of the 2007 memorandum of understanding between the Indonesian and Malaysian ministries of youth and sport. The memorandum aims at giving the youth opportunities to learn from one another and exchange experiences.

When does the programme run?

The programme usually runs in July, divided into two phases: in Malaysia and in Indonesia.

What do participants do?

PPIM activities include courtesy calls, institutional visits, training of trainers (TOT), homestay, etc.
